Transforming Your Life One Moment at a Time
SHUT UP, Dear Spike(y)!! 12/27/06
I love my dog, I really do.  But when I was typing that last entry, he would
not stop barking!!!!  I found myself frustrated, trying to concentrate and
ignoring him.  Really difficult, but somewhat possible.  However, when I
finally looked at what the fuss was all about, I saw three squirrels playing in
the tree in the back yard.  It was such live entertainment and I only had to
look out the back sliding glass door!  I watched them for a long time and
thought to myself, "This is better than Animal Planet!".  If I would not have
taken the moment to look, I would have missed it.  It started hailing soon
after and they ran for cover.  Once again reminding me, the blessings are
everywhere!  Thanks for barking, Dear Spike!
ARCHIVES
Have you ever experienced a time in your life when you had an awakening?  I mean a real, deep, hard look at your life
and what you are currently experiencing in the present moment.  Sometimes when we take personal inventory of our
lives and see with clarity where we are and what we created, it is a humbling experience.  I firmly believe in the Law of
Attraction, have seen evidence in my life and many others, teach the principles associated with it and yet forgot to
look at an area of my life that I have been unhappy with for a very long time.  I have been trying to force something to
happen and not allowing it to unfold or happen.  I often tell my clients to try the "Be and Allow-Approach" during
times of uncertainty and times of "trouble".  I didn't even realize that I was not doing this myself.

We attract into our lives situations for many reasons, unconscious reasons if we are not consciously aware at the time.
One of my Golden Keys to living the Law of Attraction is "Consciousness is Everything."  However when we finally
have those AHA! moments of putting the pieces of the puzzle together, we often find ourselves in a situation we
created with lack of hope of getting out of it.  During those times, it is important to remember your vision of your life
and stick to it no matter what.  The vision will propel you forward and provide insights and wisdom along the way,
and will actually guide you to take inspired actions to get back to where you want to be.  Don't judge yourself for what
you created in your own life.  Take responsibility, try and stay positive and move forward one baby step at a time.
Breathing exercises, journaling, meditation, visualization and acceptance of the situation will aid you with clarity to
facilitate any actions that may need to happen.  Breathing can assist with clarity and calmness along with focused
attention to keep from a running mind that creates drama or negativity.  Journaling can expose the inner wisdom we all
have and allow us to dump our feelings out on paper and get to the root of the matter.  Meditation is a good practice
for stillness and inner wisdom through allowing answers to come rather than thinking or forcing ourselves to find the
answers.  Finally visualization will keep us on track with our dreams, vision and ideal life which will take us in the
direction we want to go.

Be gentle, kind and patient with yourself during times of awakenings if you see what you created and are unhappy
with what you see.   Personal coaching,  Law of Attraction classes or support workshops can also assist you.
Don't Worry Be Crappy 5/30/07
The Humble Awakening 4/22/07
No matter what you do that makes you feel "crappy", it provides you with information about where you are at in
your life.  I went to a class with Rick Jarow on the Alchemy of Abundance and this phrase that he used stuck with
me.  “Don’t Worry, Be Crappy”  There are so many times in our life that we let fear stop us from doing something.
Or we feel that we have done something “wrong” or that it was embarrassing or went in the totally wrong direction.
When we get stuck in the ego, these feelings can lead to addictions, numbing of the pain associated with judgment and
getting stuck in your head trying to figure out why it went so “wrong”.  One thing you should feel good about is when
you go out there and really live your life and take chances, the opportunities arise that sometimes don’t go the way
you intended.  There are so many factors involved.  It could just be that you aren’t being your true self and are afraid
to show the world who you really are.  It could also be that you are doing something that doesn’t feel right to you.  It
could be the full moon, PMS or something painful that is currently happening in your own life.  But you would not be
aware of it if you did not do it.  Be gentle with yourself when you feel “crappy” about something.  If you listen to
your soul, you will get the underlying answer of why you are feeling that way.  If you think too much about it you are
wasting the precious energy of your life in the analyzing process so let it go.  Move forward, forgive yourself and
realize that life is going to have it’s ups and downs.  When you get stuck in the past, you block your creative energy to
create the life of your dreams.  If you need help letting something go, or are judging yourself from something that you
feel you did “wrong”, my services can help.
The Value of Risk Taking 8/22/07
Some of the most profound change comes when you can find the courage inside to do things that you thought were
impossible, or get comfortable with the uncomfortable.  Either way - these two  huge components are not favorites
amongst the people I coach at first.  But once they taste the victories that can only come by walking through fear they
gain momentum, faith and satisfaction that can only occur this way.   Surrender and detachment from the outcome can
act as buffers along the way.  Once a major goal or vision is set and a plan is in motion, it is more than likely that fear
will start to creep in.  When this uncomfortable feeling occurs, the conditioned response it to retreat, and get
comfortable.  I help people and "hold their hand" through this time in their lives and help them remember and Canfield
points out that the last 6 letters of the The Law of Attraction is ACTION.   This is so very important to remember in
regards to setting the vibration of allowing the Universe/God/The Angels to respond to your desires.  As you start
pursing your dreams, moving in the direction through action, and having a vision, doors will begin to open and you will
have inspired action.  In the movie "The Secret" Jack Canfield also talks about seeing only 200 feet ahead at a time
when driving in the dark and the headlights will show you will see where you are going.  This analogy is so key to
having unwavering faith and keeping the momentum.  I also want to remind you that the journey is the reward, so get
comfortable, sit back, relax and allow doors to open for you.  They will if you believe they will.  Your life is your
story, you attract what you believe and nothing is impossible to achieve.  Inspired action and feeling good about the
actions you take in your life will expedite the process.  My classes, seminars, workshops and personal coaching
sessions can also help.
The Journey IS the Reward!!! 3/15/08
There has been quite a gap between this entry and my last entry.  The reason is that somehow I got wrapped up in the
that doesn't HAVE to be done?  I HAD to have my Grand Opening in November, I now HAVE to get my taxes done,
I HAD  to find the perfect assistant for my practice and train them.  I HAD to do so may things that I solely  focused
on the "Have To" list.  However, the list is never done.  And I KNOW that.  Why do we keep forgetting what we
learned?  Why do we keep forgetting the most important things in our lives and focus on the never-ending lists?  I
realized that when I spend my energy on things that I love, the lists somehow always get done.  I start to live in a
different energy - not the task energy - but the exciting energy of the entire journey.  Being in the moment is part of the
energy and remembering that this life is not about all the doing but also the BEING.  How wonderful is that?  I am
currently in Hawaii training for another certification for my practice.  When you are in the Hawaiian energy, you
cannot help but get reconnected to the beauty of life and the advantage of the slower pace.  The tortoise always wins
the race.  I am bringing this energy back with me and vow to not let it go.  Try to incorporate more of being and
allowing and you will see how much more you will actually accomplish in this way.  My services can help if you need
to find out what blocks you.
Trust in Yourself and Listen for the Answer
If you only do one thing to change your life, please learn how to incorporate this wonderful tool!  Meditate, Meditate,
Meditate!!!!!  All of the spiritual leaders talk about the importance of this one act to change your life.  I remember
sitting on a plane years ago -  I think I was a teenager or in my early 20s - and a guy sitting next to me looked at me at
told me he had the secret to life.  He told me that the secret was to meditate and briefly told me how it was done.  I
Part of me resonated to what he said, but at that time I was more interested in my boyfriend, drinking to escape life
and thinking soooo much about everything that there was no way I was interested in quieting my mind. (not to and
thinking soooo much about everything that there was no way I was interested in quieting my mind. (not to mention
sitting still when I didn't have to!!!)  We do live in a fast paced world, where things are happening at such a rapid
speed and action is rewarded.  While I do think it is necessary to take actions to get where you are going, I believe that
the world would be a much happier place if everyone started meditating as part of their morning routine and learned to
look at it no differently than taking a shower or brushing their teeth.  Only when you quiet your mind and learn how to
be still and in silence, can you hear the inner voice and tap into the profound wisdom that you have.  By making this a
practice, you will come to a place of knowingness about what to do and how to do it.  You will be less apt to react to
everyone's drama and be able to maintain a sense of peace and calm no matter what life throws at you.  You will learn
to trust in yourself and wait for the right answer to appear instead of making a choice prematurely.  I encourage all of
my clients to make this a habit and a part of their life.  Your life will improve.  We will also be holding meditation
classes at Moment Connections in the near future.
Do You Realize How Much You Truly Have to be Grateful For?????????????
I had an eye opening experience this week!!!!  I went running on Sunday morning - really excited about my day and all
the things I was going to accomplish.  During my run, I overturned my ankle and it didn't really hurt, so I went home
and did some yard work, organized the garage a bit, and was determined to get my list of things to do complete, when
all of a sudden, I couldn't walk.  I had even forgotten about the moment I stumbled.  I could not put any pressure on
my leg at all.  So I hopped into my bedroom with some ice, my phones and journal and decided all I could do was relax.
My husband was away to see his son and I was alone, so I felt very helpless at first. When my dogs needed to go out,
I hopped over to my office chair and literally rolled around the house, and finally called a friend of mine to bring some
crutches over so I could function a little better.  The rest of the day did not go as I had planned, but I was stopped
from running, doing and accomplishing.  I realized that I created this unconsciously to have an excuse to stop.  I also
realized that I am so blessed in my life and I have been taking some things for granted.  It is so wonderful to keep a
gratitude journal, but do we really think about things like being able to stand and being able to walk in that journal?  All
you need to do is try and cook a meal with crutches, or hop around your house on one foot for a while and see how it
is soo exhausting.  Almost every day when I go to my office in Newhall, I see a man who has limited use of his legs.
He walks with arm braces/crutches that he uses and it takes him forever to walk one block.  But that man is always
determined.  People pass him and say something and I see him smile.  He has no choice but to take his time.  He is
bound by his physical limitations but not his strength of heart or character.  After yesterday, I wonder if I could do
that.  I did make the best out of the situation, but I knew it was temporary.  This man is my hero, my role model and
the ultimate illustration of patience, perseverance and endurance.  I bet he is happy to be able to use his legs at all!
START THE NEW YEAR OUT RIGHT!
It’s that time again!  That time to make those New Year’s Resolutions and “start over”, drop those bad habits and
year?  What is it about the New Year that makes everyone want to change?  For the most part, people are just not
living the lives that they want to live.  Every new year brings, hope, desire and dreams to the forefront.  Many people
become inspired and ready to make that big change in their lives.  The excitement of the New Year, the possibilities
ahead, the glimpse of living the life of what dreams are made of.  Yet so many people give up on themselves.  The
dreams fizzle out – sometimes in the first day (especially when someone tries to go cold turkey with an addiction).
What happens?  Why do so many people’s New Year’s Resolutions become disappointments?  You may hear – “I
failed again.  Oh well, maybe next year.”  One of the keys is that every person has something different that motivates
them.  What works for one person may not work for another.  Change in a gentle nature is the best approach.  There is
no such thing as a start and an end to change.  There is no such thing as failure.  There is only finding the right way that
works for you.  When babies fall and get up, it is in the getting up that the muscles in their legs get the strength to be
able to support them when they walk and stand.  When you use this approach to change, you allow change to come to
you and you can find ways that really work to change your life and start living the life of your dreams.
Claim your life, claim your power and never, ever give up on your dreams.  Give yourself a new start.  An
Empowerment Boot camp to get yourself in mental and emotional shape can help.   Or attending a “Vision Board”
class can help you stay on track.  Taking a Self-Mastery Workshop, using the powerful "Encounter" game is life
changing.  Personal coaching is another way to help you find your own specific recipe for living the life of your dreams.
No matter how you decide to go about it, make yourself a priority in your own life.  You are truly no good to anyone
if you are not taking care of yourself.  What makes your heart sing?  What brings joy into your life?  Are you spending
your time in worry and fear, or are you taking inventory and following your hearts desires?  Your life is so precious
and every single moment counts.  Don't fret, or focus on fear or worry, keep walking in faith, keep believing and keep
achieving!  What you focus on expands so let go of all the thoughts that no longer serve you.  You can do it!  You can
live a life that is one of total fulfillment.
MARCH MADNESS!
I'd like to share my own take on what "March Madness" can represent with all of you.  Spring is a time for growth,
blossoming and birth.  Every year, trees bud, flowers bloom and there is a sense that newness is in the air when you
take the time to tap into the beauty of nature.  The wisdom in nature is that is grows effortlessly and does not struggle
or strain to become what it is.  Unfortunately, as human beings - we forget the essence of that beingness and instead
do, force, plan, strategize and struggle within our own lives.  What would happen if you stopped all of that?  Do you
think you would grow into something even better?  Have you ever tried to just give up the struggle and live moment to
moment with hope, excitement, joyful anticipation for the future and surrender that everything will work out?  What if
you started this spring?  Would you think it would be "mad" to even think you could live that way?  I'm challenging
each and every one of you to your own "March Madness".... Just try it for a few months - maybe up until summer
and see what you can naturally blossom into.  Let go of all that does not need to be done (which is tricky to define
according to the ego!) and just focus on what absolutely has to get done and take a break from the rat race.   From all
the doing this and doing that and defining this and planning that....  It is exhausting and you don't truly get anywhere
faster - it is an illusion.  When you don't use the internal power of attraction and don't live in vibrational harmony to
your desires you have to work 100x harder to get anywhere.  Think about it.  What if you could live an easier life?
Would you like to?

If you choose to try this - feel free to email me with your commitment and update me with what happens.  If you can
share what you gain from this experience, you can inspire others to begin to realize the magic of effortless living.  And
the miracles that can occur when you get back to being and stop defining yourself by doing.  I would LOVE to hear
your story!
